what I’ve been doing lately
It’s been a while since I posted anything on this blog. I’ve been focusing more on other things and ended up letting the blog slide a bit.
I’m currently journaling in two different notebooks, and in just two months, I’ve already filled up half of each one. I’m loving using fountain pens for journaling, I think that’s why I’m writing so much. I went a little crazy and bought several fountain pens and inks over the last two months, but I’ve stopped for now. Just today, a new one was released by my favorite brand, and I didn’t buy it. It’s a beautiful fountain pen, and I actually really wanted it, but I have other priorities right now.
I’m trying to organize the house and do a deep clean, but I able to do that only on my days off. When I get home from work, I don’t have the energy for anything else, at most, I can cook dinner. So far, I’ve managed to clean and organize my wardrobe, my art supplies cabinet, and the living room closet.
I’ve been watching a Turkish drama called Sila. Actually I’m rewatching it. I watched it for the first time in 2015 and I found it so interesting because their culture is so similar to the culture of the region I grew up in. Most of their traditions are exactly like our traditions and I think that is fascinating.
I’m so tired but I’m glad that there are only two weeks of school left. I’m making it through work by the grace of God.
There are so many things I would like to do this summer. For now, I’m focusing on getting my house cleaned up and organized but I really want to go to the beach! Hopefully I will be able to do that soon.
